Aiden at Selection Camp
Aiden at Selection Camp

Aiden Petterson has been involved with Special Olympics Missouri for ten years and has been a Unified Partner in Basketball, Bowling, and Tennis. At the 2018 USA Games, Aiden will be a Unified Partner in Basketball. Aiden's favorite moment at a Special Olympics Missouri event was during the 2017 State Indoor Games when his team was able to win the game right at the buzzer and then the championship game in overtime. In his free time, Aiden enjoys playing on the high school tennis team, participating in student council, and spending time with his friends.  He is a sophomore at Fulton High School and hopes to one day work in the sports industry.  Aiden's heros are the many Fulton Special Olympics athletes that he has coached and played with over the years.  This will be his first time attending the USA Games and Aiden is looking forward to this once in a lifetime experience with team MO Magic.

I'm so honored to have been selected as a member of Team Missouri. I will be working hard and training during the months leading up to the USA Games. I hope to make you proud! Thank you for your support as I experience the thrill of a lifetime.
