Allison Byrd has been an athlete with Special Olympics Missouri for ten years and has participated in Aquatics, Bowling, Bocce, Basketball, Volleyball, and Athletics. At the 2018 USA Games, Allison will be competing in Aquatics. Allison likes going to Special Olympics Missouri events so that she can see friends from around the state and go to fun activities. In her free time, Allison enjoys playing the piano and volunteering for Harvesters and Great Plains SPCA. With her first time attending USA Games, Allison is looking forward to competing at a national level and meeting new people from across the country.

I'm so honored to have been selected as a member of Team Missouri. I will be working hard and training during the months leading up to the USA Games. I hope to make you proud! Thank you for your support as I experience the thrill of a lifetime.

Thank for you for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.

Special Olympics Missouri is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. More than 15,000 athletes participate in 21 Olympic-type sports throughout the state. Special Olympics provides people with intellectual disabilities continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy.
