Liam Arbuckle's Personal Page
Glad to see you on my page! Whoever you are, I'm truly grateful for you checking this page, even if you don't donate. I really hope I can get into the USA Games and represent Missouri for Track & Field.
First off, I want to describe myself if you don't know me well. I'm Liam Arbuckle, 17 years old, from Columbia Missouri. I am a Junior at Battle High School, but I'm taking all but one of my classes at MACC (Moberly Area Community College) and Mizzou! It's tough to work with, but I'm sure it'll pay off in the end. I am also in Marching Band and Cross Country in my high school, both of which I absolutely love.
For Special Olympics, I participate in Tennis, Basketball, Swimming, Track & Field, and Powerlifting. For Team USA, I have been chosen to be in Track & Field. Most of these I am lucky to be somewhat talented at, but sometimes I find myself helping other athletes, and I just love doing that too. Hey, maybe one day, I'll end up as a coach for Special Olympics!
Outside of those things, I am also a Life Scout and Troop Ambassador for Boy Scout Troop 706, take piano lessons, and compete in Smash Bros eSports at Mizzou. Camping is something I enjoy very much, and have done a lot both in Scouts and with my family. I have also been taking piano lessons for around 11 years now, or as long as I can remember. As for eSports, I wish I could tell you I was good, but I'm not. I'm still working on it, but school comes first.
As for these USA Games, I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of Team Missouri! I'll still be studying hard for my classes and such, but I will be sure to prepare myself for these USA Games. I've already started with Cross Country, but I have to work to maintain it or at least build myself back up for June. I have high hopes for myself!
I'm looking forward to going to Orlando and being with people enjoy hanging out with. I've met these people from around Missouri and became friends, and we still talk now and then when I'm not busy with school. Some of these guys are awesome people, and they're all amazing for who they are!
I cannot thank you enough for your support, since you guys are what is allowing me to even go on this trip in the first place. One person helping a little can lead to another, and more and more, until we eventually reach it together! Or so I hope.
Thank you so much for reading through all this! I do hope you'll donate, I appreciate it with all my heart. And hey, I've been told it's pretty easy to donate through this site, and it's fast and totally secure. Aside from that, you guys don't know how much this means to me that you not only read through this, but the fact that you might donate. Thank you so much! :)
